Blue Hand Twisted Necklace

This is the latest addition to my hand twisted necklaces.  I am trying to alter my style slightly to make my necklaces more everyday wear rather than going out/special occasion wear.  This necklace is a 16 inch sterling silver chain with glass and wooden beads and a hand twisted pendant.  It is up on my folksey shop along with some other items :)

A bit of bling

Well due to my impending craft fair and a family member telling me i 'need a bit of bling to pull in the punters' i've made this artificial centrepiece.  It doesnt show in the picture but the butterfly and front flower are very glittery so really catch the light.  This centrepiece will be priced at £10

Lily Lolly Display

This is my Lily lolly display which will be trialed at the upcoming craft fair, hoping that mums will pick them up for stoockings or just as a little treat for the kids whilst they walk round :)

Table Centrepiece take 2

This is my new origami centrepiece.  I'm hoping it will catch someones eye at the craft fair :) I'm finding that i'm really enjoying origami now I have the basics for this flower down.  Might be time to start trying other flowers ;)

Christmas Tree Decorations

These are christmas tree chocolates that I have made to sell at a craft fair I will be doing on 28th November (at the Commemoration Hall in Huntingdon, Cambs if you live close by :)).  The idea for these was from the fabulous crafters on the moneysaveingexpert.com website!

This is my train design childrens birthday card, as with the jewellery I make it completely by hand, every individual bit of the train has been hand cut with a pair of scissors the only part that was been cut using a machine is the number 5 in the middle window.

Hand Twisted Necklace

This has to be one of my favourite necklaces which i made about 2 months ago.  Now would probably be a good time to mention that I dont own any special wire twisting equipment, all my jewellery is hand twisted by me using needle nose pliers.  I prefer to do it this way as it means everything I make is unique :)

Lovely lillies

I've acutally made these as a bit of decoration to go in a pamper box for my 11 year old nieces christmas present.  I felt that a pamper box is quite an adult gift and wanted to pop some items in to 'girl it up' a bit.

A bit about me

Well ive been a crafter for 2 years now, having started with handmade cards i have moved on to jewellery and handmade gifts.

On a more personal level, im a mother of 2 children and rather than having to try desperately to get them interested in doing something a bit creative, i cant get them out of my bead boxes.  The older one inundates me with requests to make something for his gran or aunt, the younger one likes to play catch with my 'special balls' but give her a few more years and no doubt i'll be tripping over all the handmade bracelets shes created whilst i wasnt looking ;)
